Service Description:
Redemption Reintegration Services is a non-profit organization that provides services and supports to criminalized African Canadian youth in the priority neighborhoods of Toronto. The vision of RRS is to empower young people to develop a positive outlook towards their reintegration into their community and develop a healthy and active role in critical self-evaluation.
• TDSB/RRS Transitional School (ages14-20)
• Reintegration Supports – housing, education, employment, mental health & wellness
• Inmate Support Services – For young adults currently serving time in a provincial or federal institution. Inmates receive supports from our Reintegration Workers, via telephone sessions and personalized mail-out packages which includes readings, written assignments and self-development activities.
• Opportunities for volunteers and community service orders at our main office
• Identity based programming, including cultural education and life skills development.
